WEST ALBORZ STEEL COMPANY was established in 2005 as one of the largest private company in I. R. IRAN.  The company is a state-of-the-art steel manufacturing facility that takes recycled metal and DRI/HBI and turns them into high quality steel billets and products.

Today the plant occupies an area of 200000 sq. meters, adjacent to which is a further 150000 sq. meters plot reserved for future developments. The company employs more than 300 handpicked personnel, qualified at the highest levels to continue to surpass the standards of the industry.

Plant facilities have come to include four Induction Melting Furnaces, a Ladle Refining Furnace and a Continuous Casting plant with the latest automated features.

Other auxiliaries include a Main Power Substation, Two Sets of Packing Press with the capacity of 250 and 50 MT, Respectively, Natural Gas Substation with the capacity of 5000 cubic meters, Oxygen and Nitrogen Plant of capacity of 150 cubic meters per hours, Quality Control Center, Wet chemical Analysis Lab., Spectrometer and NDT Laboratories, Metallography Lab., etc.

At present, the company is capable of producing over 200000 TPA of steel billets and the majority of the production is consumed by the demands of the local market.
